Overcoming bad habits is not an easy task, but necessary. The World Jewish Women's Organization "Project Kesher" is convinced of this, therefore, the regional offices were offered a special method of holding a flash mob within the program "Women's Health" for student youth called "Healthy to be healthy". This action was held at the Khmelnytsky Institute of Social Technologies "Ukraine" with the involvement of representatives of the All-Ukrainian volunteer network "Community", working for the Khmelnytsky Hesed Besht Charitable Foundation.
Author of the methodology, Head of the Department of the Status of Women in Society and the Women's Health Program, Marina Konstantinova took into account the age characteristics of the target group, making the program interesting and dynamic. At the local level, Iryna Herasimenyuk, Head of the Khmelnytsky Branch of the Kesher Project, and Olga Nikitina, Head of the Kesher Hadash Youth Wing, added some of their own techniques., such as a presentation at the station "Healthy Photo Studio" and a memo, which should be abandoned for health reasons.
Venue - HIST "Ukraine" – was chosen not by chance. After all, this educational institution trains specialists, who will later work with other people as social workers, psychologists and physical rehabilitation specialists. This work is the most difficult and without good health, caring about the problems of others, you can waste it pretty quickly. On the other hand, people, who will help others, should be an example for them, which means not having bad habits and leading a healthy lifestyle. This is understood in the university itself, therefore gladly agreed to cooperate, and the methodologist on educational training Litnitskaya Yuliya Nikolaevna took care of all organizational moments for the best carrying out of action.
At one o'clock in the afternoon, the conference hall of the Institute began to fill with students. Community volunteers took up positions near the stations, provided by the program, among which were "I know as well as rosacea", "I wish myself and you", "Healthy exchanger". They had a great responsibility to communicate directly with visitors and disseminate the prepared material. At the stations, students had the opportunity to exchange cigarettes for sweets at a favorable rate, get literature on healthy living and special calendars for girls, that will help control the processes of their body. Volunteers also distributed contraceptives, provided by the Khmelnytsky Association to help solve the problems of drug addiction and AIDS "VICTORIA". The work of VMM Communities volunteers at this event took place within the framework of the Good Deeds Week project.
The presentation of the program performed by Olga Nikitina did not leave indifferent or "sleeping" any visitor to the event. Students joined the dialogue, which was not conducted here at the level of "present air listener", I on the principle of "equal-equal", where you could not be ashamed to touch on any issues on the topic. The public promises of some students to give up bad habits became symbolic. To do this, an unwanted habit had to be written on a balloon and burst in public, as a sign of complete freedom. Each student received a reminder of the dangers of harmful factors, and the rest of the monuments remained in free access on the information stands of the institution.
Thus, the initiative "Live healthy" spread to the masses. It will definitely bring results - for someone quickly, and for someone over time. Systematic promotion of a healthy lifestyle forms the worldview of a young person gradually, therefore, all participants in this process still have a lot of work to do for the benefit of society.
