The Khmelnytsky Charitable Foundation "Hesed Besht" has a renovated museum "Space of Charity". He is unique: it has no analogues in Ukraine, and there are no more than a dozen such museums in the world. To fully design the exhibition, needed 5 years, tand the idea of creating a museum was born almost from the moment the foundation was founded. All those years, Hesed's staff carefully collected information about philanthropists and patrons of the Jewish community., and it is now available to every visitor to the museum.
More was worked out to create a rich exposition 300 cases from the state archives of Khmelnytsky region, made about a thousand photocopies of unique documents.
The museum is decorated in the form of a street, on which "live" super-worthy people - good, selfless, merciful, sympathetic. The Jewish community has always relied on them. The light in the windows of those people is a symbol of their good deeds and our memory of them.
You can talk about the museum for a long time. But better to see once, than a hundred times to hear. We invite public organizations, government agencies and just anyone wishing to visit our museum for free. welcome!
