The action "16 Days Against Violence" in Khmelnitsky became an important stage in the training of young volunteers of the community center "Thiya" and the Khmelnitsky Volunteer Center, who, during the training on the methodology of Project Kesher, learned to determine personal boundaries, establish comfort zones in interpersonal relationships, speak: "Not!», when communication and interaction move to the level of pressure and psychological violence. The training was prepared by the head of the Khmelnitsky regional office of the "Project Kesher" Irina Gerasimenyuk and the head of the Community Center "Thiya" Vyacheslav Nagnibeda with the methodological assistance of the head of the department "Strengthening the social status of women" Marina Konstantinova. Partner assistance in conducting the training was provided by the HCF "Hesed Besht".
Young volunteers, who take their first steps in this noble sphere, should reasonably assess their physical and emotional strengths, and avoid "professional burnout". And for this, it is important for them to be able to determine those boundaries of “personal” and “public”, which will be comfortable and will not lead to undesirable consequences. Here is what the training leader Vyacheslav Nagnibeda says: “It was convenient and interesting for me to work with the material provided by the Kesher Project, and participants of the training were involved in the topic. We used different methods of discussions and discussions, game moments, computer presentation was very helpful. The most important conclusion, which I heard during the training: "This is my life, and no one has the right to decide for me, what is the "right" thing to do, how to act. But important, do not interfere with other people while respecting their rights and remain a sympathetic person!»
