A requiem rally in memory of the victims of the Holocaust was also held today at the memorial on the site of the former Proskuriv Jewish ghetto. The people of Khmelnytskyi honored the bright memory of the murdered, bowed their heads in sincere prayer, which was read by Yosef Teitelbaum, rabbi of the Jewish religious community of Khmelnytskyi region.
Deputy head of the regional council Valentyn Sokolyuk spoke at the rally, Deputy Mayor Mykhailo Kryvak.
