Pleasantly, when young people are interested in the history of their settlement: this is useful for the youngest researchers, who are enriched with knowledge of their native land, and for the public. After all, the inquisitive mind of young people is able to impartially systematize already known facts and find new information from different sources.. And especially nice, when young people are interested in the history and culture of representatives of other nationalities, that have left a prominent mark in the history of modern cities. This is exactly what the Slovakian Alexander Katerynenko did.
According to the mother of the girl, teacher of Lyceum №9 "Success" m. Famous, Biletskaya Galina Vasylivna, the daughter was always fond of something out of the ordinary. She was attracted to other cultures, did not satisfy the pattern and standards. Creative potential of the student 11 class decided to send to the study of the ethno-cultural landscape of the Slav Slav (this is how the name for Yiddish sounds)in the same scientific work for a competition from the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Alexandra not only drew information from sources, but also used the opportunity to communicate with representatives of the Jewish community of Slavuta today, which contributed to the discovery of interesting facts about the topic.
The value of the work lies in its composition and information part: clear division of sections, concreteness and fact, structure and conciseness. The material is available, suitable for students or students, as well as for teachers or teachers as a good methodological basis for the preparation for the class. And despite its scientific nature, work is easy to read, which makes it interesting for everyone.
Hesed Besht Charitable Foundation of Khmelnitsky highly appreciates the interest of outstanding people in the history and culture of the Jewish community. Not too long ago, the multicultural region was in harmony and harmony and there were no conflicts between representatives of different nationalities. Now the situation is also stable, however, people, who have forgotten the story, sometimes imbued with the ideas of chauvinism, xenophobia or anti-Semitism, which harms the whole society. Interest in the culture of others, unity in differences - that is tolerance, promoted by our organization. Therefore, we are very grateful to Alexandra and mother Galina Vasylivna for the work done!
